I have mentioned here, several times, that I am a member of a
“business barter club” named ITEX.
This is the SINGLE LARGEST barter club in North America, with
25,000+ members across the U.S. and Canada.
I’ve been a member for approximately 8 years… I don’t remember
the exact year that I joined, but I have benefitted tremendously
from my membership.
I sell all kinds of goods and services on ITEX with my current
highest priced listing selling for $10k, and my second highest
priced listing going for $6k. The $6k one is currently my best
seller. Don’t ask what it is… but if you join, you’ll be
surprised.
Being a barter club, you get paid in barter dollars, which you
can then use to buy all kinds of goods and services… even
including things such as land and houses, all kinds of
professional services using your barter dollars! π
You can also do what we called in the world of barter
“Cash Converting!” That’s where you buy something in the
barter world for barter dollars, and then sell it in the
“real world” for regular currency. I do that quite often too.
While ITEX it is a “business barter club” we also have
non-profit “businesses” as members. I’ve referred several
501-C3 non-profits π
As you can see from the screenshot (that I posted inside my
Private Facebook Group “Total Freedom”) of part of an email that
I received this morning, we DO encourage members to give to
non-profits, and the IRS treats those gifts to non-profits the
same as they do cash donations. So you get credit on your
taxes for making contributions π
NOTE: If you are not a member of Total Freedom (which is free,
but your membership much be approved by an admin, and you need to
understand that the group is kept “spam free”)you should BE in
the group. Request that we add you here:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/285205408901544
On the other side of the coin, the IRS treats barter transactions
the same as cash, and you get a 1099-R to use when filing your
taxes. I personally spend a lot of my earning on deductible
business expenses. I’m fairly skilled at turning my barter
dollars into legitimate business expenses. For example, MOST
major media such as newspaper, magazine, billboard, and even some
television advertising is available on barter :-). An ad in
Entrepreneur Magazine, or The Wall Street Journal gets pretty
expensive… and both ARE available on barter π
All of this is to say that IF you own a business located in the
U.S. or Canada, either online or offline, for-profit or
non-profit, I’d like to invite you to join ITEX. If you are not
in the U.S. or Canada, see my P.S.
The biggest reason I’m extending this invitation, is that it
gives me MORE trading partners that I can buy things that I need
and use barter dollars rather than regular currency. In other
words, barter allows us to conserve our cash. It allows us to
overcome cashflow problems… which is often the biggest limiting
factor for many businesses!
To become a members, I need:
– Your name
– Your business name (if you have one)
– Your business or personal email address
– Your business or personal phone number
I will enter that info into a form inside the site, and that will
trigger an invitation that you need to accept.
You will then get a personal email from a Trade Director, seeking
to set up a phone call so that you can discuss/explore what items
you might want to offer to other members… to get the most
benefit out of your membership. You are not “required” to set up
that appointment, but I highly encourage it. The Trade Director
will then know you, and part of his/her job is to help you find
items that you need, and can also mention your items in email
bulletins that are sent out periodically to members.
An email was recently sent out pointing out my newly listed $6000
item BECAUSE I reached out to my Trade Director and suggested
that he do so… and being VERY familiar with me and my products,
he happily did so.
If interested, please Private Message or Email me the info listed
above. If you prefer sending that info via email, please send it
to willie.crawford@gmail.com Please use the email subject line
“Interested In ITEX” so that it stands out in my crowded inbox!
Let me know what questions you have. You can do that by emailing
me at the same email” willie.crawford@gmail.com. Please make the
subject of that email “More Info On ITEX Please” so that your email
stands out in my crowded inbox.
Looking forward to bartering with you,
Willie Crawford
P.S. If you are not in the U.S. or Canada, I did touch lightly
on barter in other locations in a video that I posted to YouTube.
You can check that video titled “Understanding Business Barter –
How To Buy Goods And Services When You Have Absolutely NO Cash!”

While you are on my YouTube channel, please give the channel
a like, and consider subscribing. I’m actually working on
growing that channel, and when it hits 100,000 subscribers, some
time in 2024, I will likely begin selling sponsor ads, which I
will integrate into some of my videos. I may even offer some
of those ads to ITEX members π
